Analysis of The Mysterious Affair at Styles

The Mysterious Affair at Styles is Agatha's first novels. Novel in which she introduce us to Hercules Poirot. After he gets invited to solve a crime. A murder that take place inside a room with lock doors three to be exact. Someone had place poison in the victims drink and they can only open the door to find her in her last minutes of life. At that time Arthur Hastings find himself sick at the house where the murder take place been as a guests at the house.the Mr Hasting invites his friend Hercule Poirot who is a retired Belgian police man and lives now in England and will help investigating the crime. The plot of the novel develops in how Poirot
is out to find who kill the victim. was it the two step-sons of her new husband or the wife of the elder step-son? or maybe the a friend who is staying at the house and loves to gardening, or a young ward staying at the house to be is training to be a dispenser? It seems to me that Mrs Agatha Christie likes to play with the readers suspicions, and let us to believe that who we think is the murder in the first place is not! and she seem to favor that the person who is a suspected of committing a crime maybe found guilty even though evidences proves otherwise, and then is here when Agatha changes the plot on us and make us get to the conclusion she want us too. This book is really a thrill it makes you want to read it from the first page to the last trying to solve the crime.

I hope you enjoy this book and this blog as well.

Thanks to Mrs Olivier and all her help this semester
